Editor's Verdict: GKiss.com is a non-adult gay dating site, and as such it is intended for men (and women) who are looking for that special someone. There are a couple of features that set GKiss.com apart from much of the competition, including the ability for free members to reply to e-mails they're sent and the personalised winks that you can send to other members you fancy, allowing you to choose from around 40 or so one-line teasers to send to your potential match. This makes winking a lot more fun ;-) The fact that free members can reply to e-mails they're sent from gold members means that free members can effectively use this site to arrange a date without having to spent a single cent. If you're clever enough with your personalised winks to encourage a man you fancy to e-mail you, then you can arrange a date by replying to his e-mails. The downside of course is that at least one of you has to be a premium gold member in order to initiate contact. However, with most gay dating sites, both of you would need to be premium members in order to have any meaningful dialogue and arrange a date, so this feature of GKiss.com gets major marks from us. Another feature we liked is that you can see not only who's expressed an interest in you, but also who's viewed your profile. And yet another nice feature of the site is that when you choose to add someone to your Favorites list you can opt to add a little note (which only you will be able to see) to help you remember why it is you added them! There are a few features that are lacking from GKiss.com. Firstly there is no online magazine section, which may or may not be important to you. Secondly, the GKiss.com chat room is basically just that - one chat room, which also doubles up as an instant messenger, allowing you to chat with other members who are online at the time. However, when we visited the GKiss.com chat room, there were no other members online at all! Another flaw is the lack of search parameters available to you. As a free member you hardly have any search parameters to search by - just age and country of residence. This makes it really difficult if not impossible to gauge how many members there are in your local area, which in turn makes it very difficult to determine whether or not GKiss.com is worth joining. As a premium gold member, more search parameters become available, but these still pale in comparison with the number of search parameters available on some of our highest ranked gay dating sites. As a non-adult site, GKiss.com doesn't allow you to post x-rated pics or include any sort of vulgarity in your profile. If a sexual encounter is what you're looking for, then obviously GKiss.com is not for you - we suggest instead that you try OutPersonals.com, IWantUGay.com or Gay.com. GKiss.com is a serious dating site intended for those who are looking for serious relationships. However, if it's a serious relationship you're looking for, then you can still do better than Gkiss.com. Whilst GKiss does have many great features all wrapped up in an easy to navigate site, it's main drawback is that it doesn't have that many subscribed members compared to some of the main gay dating sites, like Gay.com or Gay.Date.com. This lack of members seriously affects your chances of finding love on the site, as it severely limits the pool of potential matches you have to choose from.
